We are excited to kick-off the new year with an exciting new project! We got to recently work with the team at 6Above Studios on the press visuals for Elyon Cannabis. Our team 3D modeled and 3D rendered all of the visuals for this project with unique materials and textures.

Don’t know about you, but we are all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in the studio today! Looking forward to a new year filled with fun projects and as always awesome clients!

Out with the old: Stoneyfield

Companies are always looking for new ways to approach their product - to better it, to sell it, etc. It’s the one thing all of us can rely on. (It’s why we all have jobs.)

Knowing that doesn’t make it easier to go to the store and see someone else’s work on a line of packages where yours once were. Been there? Yeah, we know the feeling.

This week, we are checking out the new work on Stoneyfield. (It used to be our client’s design and our visuals on-pack).

The visuals (above and below) on the right are press visuals created by our team. Those were 3D modeled and rendered for web and award uses.

The on-pack visuals were created by our team as well. This included retouch and compositing of the fruit and other environmental elements. The designs and photography were provided by our client.

The cliche is that nothing lasts for ever, but it was definitely really cool while it lasted. :)

Render Weekly Submission #1

This week the team got to participate in Render Weekly, a weekly instagram challenge. We hope that a team member can take part each week in some fun studio projects - schedules permitting. It’s a fun way to stretch our creative and modeling muscles. Here is our first submission for this weeks challenge Spatulas.

We modeled these with the modeling software MODO. Not being product designers, we merged a few designs that we liked into our final product. All of the materials, lighting and environment have been created by team LV.
